I am sharing this recipe from a friend, Adrianne, from Facebook. Hope y'all enjoy.

1 lb fresh okra or frozen
1/4 cup green bell pepper
1/4 cup red bell pepper
onion maybe 1/4 cup
1 toe garlic
season to taste
salt and pepper
1 can tomato sauce
1 can of RoTel tomato w/green chiles
1 can whole kernel corn/ fresh or frozen
1/2 lb shrimp (pealed and devein)
2 Louisiana hot links (boiled)
1 bay leaf
saute the okra in a skillet or sauce pan with olive oil
add onion, bell pepper on low heat, garlic.
add tomato sauce
add RoTel tomato's
may need to add season
add bay leaf
cut links and add
add shrimp, when almost done add corn, let simmer.
Pile on
White or brown rice!

I have made this soup recently and it is very good. :)

Lefty, I would not call this a GUMBO. Every recipe I've ever seen for gumbo starts out with these words: :First you make a roux.".

I wouldn't call it a gumbo....... but it surely is a very "Busy" soup / stew......
