Works!
Finally got set up on unlimited data for the phone.
I can use the laptop again thru tethering.

Trouble is, I'm used to the phone now.
Y'all looked big haha!

I've thought about dumping cable and using the phone - according to Comcast one month we used 105 gigs! - seriously over 'normal' for us -

does you phone connection get slowed down after some limit is reached?
with the iPhone I can use either USB tether or set up a wireless hotspot. we use it when traveling or when the cable goes out.

It did go slow before I switched to the unlimited plan. $75 per month thru Verizon.

The "always on data" sucked when it would start to dwindle.
Beats what I was paying for cable and phone before.

I, also, have mobile hot spot through Boost Mobile.

Eight gigs was not enough, so I changed to 20 gigs. Unlimited data!!

4G is more than enough for me.
I go on the internet, make phone calls and text on my Android for 75 per month with Verizon.
I also have two fabulous free movie/ TV and news apps from Google Play.
Pluto TV and tubi.
