Just back from a week on the rocky coast of Maine, where my father and I rented a 2-bedroom townhouse in Perkins Cove.
It was a lovely, relaxing spot right on the water, with a private beach. Read a lot, relaxed in the sun, daily power-walk to town along the Marginal Way, shopped, saw the movie "San Andreas" one rainy afternoon.
Great meals at the Maine Diner and Mike's Clam Shack (really excellent!) both in the next town of Wells.
