Burgers with a Greek flare

2 - 8oz containers plain yogurt
1 - 1oz package dry ranch dressing
1 cucumber, peeled, seeded, chopped
1 1/2 lbs ground beef (85% - 93%)
1/4 cup diced white onion (red onion could also be used)
6 pita bread rounds
2 cup torn lettuce leaves
1 tomato, seeded & chopped (mild salsa could also work...or pico de gallo)

In a medium bowl, combine 1 container of the yogurt with the envelope of the ranch dressing mix.

Remove half the mixture to another bowl and then add the other container of yogurt to one of the bowls along with the chopped cucumber and mix well. Cover and put in fridge.

Mix the ground beef and onions with the remaining 1/2 of the yogurt mixture. Shape into 6 firm patties.

Grill the patties on oiled grate at medium heat for 7 minutes on each side, turning once.

Cut off 1/4 of the end of each pita pocket and fill with lettuce, tomato, grilled burger and sauce.

Looking back at my post I should probably have worded it differently.:pat: Like I have a hardon for eating lamb. Considering the number of freaks out there I want to assure you that I am not insinuating that I want to do anything inappropriate to a lamb other than eat it!?!?!
