It was delicious, but the ciabatta roll was a little hard and crunchy.

Tina made a 2 pound Armor canned ham.
It was salty. Had candied sweet potatoes. My favorite with ham.

It was an Armor Ham. It was on sale and that was the reason for buying it.
The weird thing was, the old time key opener, has been replaced with a pop top.
Pull the tab like on a soft drink can, and pull up to open the can.
I remember many a time, people would get cut on that sharp can; because the key was going good, and then break off the metal strip half way opened. Then it was a dogfight trying to open the can with other implements.

I told Tina...no more canned hams. We threw half of it to the animals. It was way too salty to eat.

Butternut squash pasta which did not taste like butternut squash at all, but I thought it was cute and Halloween-y. Very dense pasta and might be fun to stuff if one has the patience.

I browned some Italian chicken sausage and tossed with a brown butter sage sauce.

I was surprised that such a sturdy pasta shape fell apart when stirred. I wouldn't get it again.

We had KFC last night.

Food shopping day (I don't eat before shopping).

Brunch was rotisserie pork, potato salad and cheddar pretzel sandwiches.

Once again, everyone's dinners look wonderful.

Tonight myself and my friend Charlotte are going to dinner.
Either to Big Boy or Hill's family restaurant.
I'll try to get pictures.

We had brunch at Hill's.
I had a delicious veggie omelet with home fries and toast.
Dinner may be fish, "chips" and peas.
I've got some of my favourite Gorton's potato crunch fillets in the freezer.

One of the local chain markets had frozen whole turkey breasts on sale for half off, so we decided to get 1, roast it and have club sandwiches. I only have a single decker club. We'll portion the rest of the turkey in meal size packages and have several meals from it. Homemade chips.

Jimmy and Tina had lasagna carry out from Olive Garden. It was good.
I was glad they just used cheese for the filling. The sauce with ground beef was just poured on top. I just scraped it off, and had the lasagna the way I like it.
No Sauce for me. A little marinara is ok, but not meat sauce.
Dessert was Dairy Queen. Butterscotch sundae for me, and hot fudge for Tina.

Last night was hot dogs on whole wheat buns. I had one bun and one on plate. I really don't like buns or want those carbs. I also made a small batch of mac salad.
