Baked clams

  • We made these for our last big party. They were a hit! :a1::mrgreen:
  • 24 medium , Clams
  • 4 tablespoon(s) , Olive Oil
  • 2 large , Garlic Cloves Minced
  • 1 medium , Onion Chopped
  • 1 tablespoon(s) , Bread Crumbs
  • 1 teaspoon(s) , Fresh Parsley
  • 1/4 teaspoon(s) , Oregano
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • Parmesan Cheese Grated to taste
  • Lemon Juice to taste/
Clean clams.
Saute onion and garlic until golden.
Steam clams and remove from shells.
Chop the clams up into very small pieces.
Mix clams with bread crumbs, parsley, salt, pepper and oregano.
Fill your clam shells up and then add cheese and lemon juice.
Dot with butter and place under hot broiler about 3 minutes or until the cheese is melted.
 
Top
