Cider Mop

1 cup cider vinegar
1 cup apple cider
1/4 cup dark brown sugar

Drunken Cider Mop

3/4 cup cider vinegar
3/4 cup apple cider
1/2 cup Apple liquor (I use Lairds Applejack)
1/4 cup dark brown sugar

Bone Suckin' Mop

1 1/2 cups iced tea
1/2 cup Bone Suckin' Sauce (or a similar BBQ sauce that is thin)

Bourbon Mop

3/4 cup cider vinegar
1/2 cup apple cider
3/4 cup bourbon
1/4 cup dark brown sugar

To apply the mops I use either a spray bottle or just baste with a spoon. The commercially sold mops and pastry brushes tend to remove any seasoning or rub you painstakingly applied. Make sure the sugar has completely dissolved so it doesn't clog the spray pump. You can find spray bottles at Target, Lowes/Home Depot, sometimes even your supermarket. Not only will you save your seasoning, it's faster than brushing so your cooker will retain the heat.
