Chili-Mac is a great rainy day recipe!

Chili- Mac
1 lb ground beef
1 onion, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
1 (16 oz) can diced tomatoes
` (15 oz) can kidney beans
1 (8 oz) can tomato sauce
½ cup water
2 tsp chili powder
1 ¼ teas salt
1 bay leaf
1 cup uncooked macaroni
Brown meat in a skillet; add vegetables ad sautee them until tender. Drain fat. Add rest of stuff, including macaroni. Bring to boiling. Reduce heat to simmering, cover, and simmer until macaroni is cooked, about 15 minutes, stirring several times. Remove bay leaf before serving.
