Mojito Toro Rojo

A favourite Cuban beverage -- with Red Bull!

1 can Red Bull (or your favourite energy drink, or seltzer water)
2-3 tablespoons turbinado sugar (white or brown if desired or cannot find turbinado)
8-10 fresh mint leaves
1 lime
Rum
Crushed ice

1. In a Collins glass, muddle mint and sugar together gently. Juice lime directly into glass, and stir gently
2. Top glass with ice, and add rum. I like just 1 jigger and a pony, but that's dependent on how you like it.
3. Finish off with the Red Bull or energy drink or seltzer water. Garnish with the lime halves or more mint leaves,

Well, now this is interesting, Jeff! I always have too much mint in my garden and look for easy ways of using it.

I've never had Red Bull. Do you think it makes a significant difference to the drink, over seltzer?

imho i believe it is just as good with seltzer, unless you want the short zip an energy drinks gives you.
