I noticed the weekly dinner thread was missed.

I'm Jealous, JoeV ...

Haven't had a squirrel or rabbit connection in years.... Amish Meat Market used to carry both, but methinks I was the only customer... (Sigh!)

Tonight is the old standby- Meaty Chicken Thighs in an Italian concoction...

Yesterday I had a pork shoulder, about 1 kg. I put it to the oven in the oven cooking bag, +150 C, about 2,5 hours.

It was very softened and with potatoes and veggies so yummy.

Looks wonderful, Saliha!

Is it a fresh shoulder or was it cured or smoked?

The sausages were the al fresco brand.
I've had them before. They are just excellent.

The pasta was a quick fix using bottled sauce with added onions and mushrooms. The sausages were pre cooked and heated in a skillet and not bad.

Tonight is another quick fix meal of tikka masala.

Corn and crab chowder sounds good. I've got some canned crab but would like to try some with fresh crab. I've got a freezer full of frozen ears from Summer.
