Both were rescued from the shelter on the same day.

Were the dog and cat from the same home originally? They look so comfortable together!

Yes they were.
My son Jeff took my eldest granddaughter to the shelter because she wanted a cat.
They fell in love with Boots, but the woman said she has a brother.
Jeff said there is no way we're splitting them up.
