DIL brought home the remains of a very rich caramel apple pie, from a work carry in.
I'll have a slice for dessert this evening.
Took a taste.
Yum!

Wow, that ham and cabbage looks great!
Lol the plates.

Well, I don't know if I'll be able to handle any pie after this, unless i wait until later.
We had sliced Italian bread instead of dinner rolls.

Good Lord..
This pie went flop! with the top edge crust as soon as I put it on the plate.
It's a thick pie, very sweet, gooey and delicious.
Just not too pretty Lol

Look at these babies for the upcoming Fathers Day this Sunday.

DIL Picked them up and dropped them off. 16 beautiful steaks for the celebration.

DD made me Marie Callender's Country fried steak. She took it out of the carton after cooking, and put it in a bowl. It was like KFC"s Famous Bowl. Just a nice touch.

Had meatball parm subs ( lunch ), from WaWa convenience store by us. Also, an Italian sub for supper. Two glazed apple crisp fritters, and an cinnamon swirl bun.
Oh yeah!......... Carbs way off the charts! hahahahahahahaha

Yesterday I had half and instant cinnamon raisin oatmeal for breakfast.

Lunch was half a Jersey Mike's Original Italian hero (I added some extra red wine vinegar, spices and fresh basil leaves) and half bag of Lays chips.

Oh, man, you guys have some excellent stuff!

That ham and cabbage thing looks suspiciously like a New England Boiled Dinner.

I'd love those Latin things of your DIL, Sass. What are the "boats" made of?

Dan, the ham hocks and beans are making my mouth water.

Jimmy, what a generous daughter you have! Did she cook all those steaks?

Dad and I are having his favorite meal tonight: meatloaf, white rice, and peas with onions.
