I”m having a yogurt for breakfast.

I’ll be leaving soon to go food shopping so dinner really isn’t set yet. But I am thinking split pea soup.

I had vanilla yogurt.
I also did the 'big shop' yesterday.
Lots of good things planned for the week.

I did some shoveling yesterday and not as much as I'd of liked - tired out to quickly and hips hurt. Later in the day went to church and helped finish the shoveling there, then went to son's and helped him insulate his outdoor faucets. I did get a chance to bake some Otis Spunkier cookies to take to church hospitality, as well.

for dinner I made a fryer full of burger and onion gravy for a baked potato and have enough for tonight, too. It was burger fried in a tsp of bacon grease, added a whole slice sweet onion (strong) and two McCormick gluten free gravy mixes.

Sass I think I’ll make ranch shake and bake wings. How long and temp oven did you cook them? TIA

These are bottom round Angus beef that I've been brining in soy sauce, Worcestershire, garlic seasoning and vinegar.
I hope they do well with a reverse sear.

Only thing I'd have done different with this steak was less oven time.
At 275/35 minutes was too long.
It was still tender and juicy, just not quite as "moo" as I'd wanted.
Oh and Aimee got the wrong rolls out to butter.
When I said get out a couple of those split top rolls to butter, well... she got split top rolls alright.
Lol
Good Sunday dinner tho.

Ater I dropped the mrs off at hospital I drove to Safeway in a snow downpour. I bought two pre-cooked chicken legs and thighs and a Hormel pre-made mac and cheese. The mac and cheese was a tad better than Kraft and I didn't have to make it. I made a baked potato and some gluten free turkey gravy to finish the combo.I was stuffed and couldn't eat the leg. there is plenty leftover for tomorrow. About 3 PM the snow changed to rain, it's still raining, and extremely foggy.

" I decided to throw some baby spinach in the alfredo sauce."

I'll try that ! Lately, I've been loading my Alfredo Sauce with crispy Bacon pieces.....

Last night was interesting...... defrosted the last three of the Warden's meatballs (back to my little ones, I guess) and threw together a Sauce.....
went for crushed tomatoes, had none..., went for stewed, had none... went for diced, and all I had was this.....

........... made for a VERY interesting Sauce, I must say !

That looks fab, Lucky.
Red Gold is like theee brand around these parts.
Their ketchup is good, I've used their Sloppy Joe sauce too.
Yup, the idea for adding spinach to the alfredo came from a recipe I was looking at.

Tonight we're gonna "Swing American".
That's a trivia hint. Lol

Whoo hoo!
You made them!
Yes, they are good stuff.:thankyou:

I made the ranch wings last night with steak fries. No pictures because DD just got home from work when they came out of the oven and just forgot to grab a snap. They were very good but next time I'll use another envelope of dressing powder.

It's snowing like crazy at the moment.

I think tonight will be meatloaf, asparagus, mashed & gravy.
