I've got a recipe for beef korma from scratch, where you could sub out chicken and adjust cooking time if you are interested. We need to revisit it as it's been a long time since we've had it.

Sure, I'd like to see it and will try it someday.

It's Eye-Poke Day ...... so I'll throw a small Chuck Roast in the Ninja with some spuds, and add it to the lefty veggies from last night ..........:readytoeat:

I was going to take leftover korma and rice for my work lunch, but my friend Jules stopped in last night and I made her a take home container. She loved it.

So.. this is going in my lunch tote.
Bbq chicken wrap, string cheese and a lovely ambrosia apple.

heehee - actually, not much there. bone in it ran 8+ lbs. it pretty well filled up the pot!
about three cups, less what evaporated - but yes,,, there's gravy in our future.

I bought a small one, when I went to open it it was green mold. seems the seal on the Cryovac broke/failed.... took it back and this was the smallest left - which they did not collect more for . . .

Ended up going out to a Vietnamese place last night. Had fried shrimp and pork eggrolls, shrimp springrolls, Asian clams in a lemongrass/Thai basil/bird chile broth that was fantastic, and a hotpot for 2 that had beef slices, shrimp, fish, octopus, fish balls, assorted cabbages, corn, tomatoes and enoki mushrooms. Good meal.

I'm making crab cakes for dinner tonight.
I've got 3 cans of lump crab meat, and will attempt the recipe medtran shared.
Sides? Possibly baked sweet potato and a cold mini cucumber/snap pea salad.

The cuke/snap pea salad has become cuke and onion salad dressed with Ken's creamy Italian.
I thought I had bought a small bag of fresh snaps, when in fact they are fresh string beans.
Also took a good slice out of my index finger slicing onions.
The knife is sharpy!

Thanks Dan.
I've managed to make dinner and wash dishes with a 3 Band-aid finger lol

Ohhh yes, these crab cakes are the bomb!
The cuke salad isn't bad either.

Bayoubaisse. We had seen this on a Food Paradise show just before Halloween when they featured Muriel's in NOLA due to the fact that the restaurant is reported to have a ghost. It has fish and shrimp balls, mussels, shrimp, crab and andouille in a Creole bouillabaisse sauce, served over orzo. I did pretty good with no recipe to follow, just what I had seen on TV as the chef was cooking. Needs a tweak or 2 but really good nonetheless.

Craig can post a pic of our appy.

About the potato, Lucky lol
I normally nuke them.
I baked it in the oven at 375 for an hour.
Don't have a microwave yet.
There was enough there to satisfy.

Jimmy, it's just a small cut, but I got it pretty deep. It's like a tiny flap of skin cut.
I just changed the band aids, so I'm down to one now.
I'll keep it open to air tomorrow.
That New skin or nail glue is a good fix also.
I'm with you when it comes to airing it out.

Looks ouchy and it is.
The skin has fused together already.
