Jimmy, mighty fine job with the tube steak & veggies. IMO, there's no wrong way to make that dish, just as long as it has kielbasa in it.:brows:
Thanx Joe!

I see where I made the oversalt mistake. I always use Kosher Salt, and we ran out!

SOoooo I grabbed the regular table salt, and after salting, I realized.....and said silently...HOLY "S" . ....And our salt shakers..I drilled the holes bigger! There is nothing worse than shaking out salt forever whilst cooking.

i put a skirt steak on the thaw. i was thinking of that and.......
hm.

for a veggie, heirloom tomato slices or summer squash/zucchini.

unless i get to the store. then it's a pacific rim salad.

this is apt to change.

Had to google that one, sounds delicious!

EVERYTHING looks and sounds fantastic. I am so hungry now.

Well Mom did cook last night. I made a strawberry rhubarb pie.

Somebody must have back for seconds and thirds for the pot roast. I thought that I had enough left over but I didnt. I quickly fried a chicken breast. That made it enough for everyone.
That is my FAVORITE pie!! YUMMY

Ended up going to Yamato, a Japanese steakhouse with some friends.
I got the salt and pepper calamari, shared some sashimi, and had the hibachi New York strip with vegetable soba.
Washed it all down with a Yuengling black and tan.

Did you ever get them Sass??? Tina bought them about three weeks ago, and we devoured them. then she bought their hoagie rolls (about 6" long and same consistancy) ...OMG great with a split open hot dog and chili sauce.
A sweetness to the top of the rolls, but I like that. they are so light too.
I could sit and just eat a few with butter as a meal. oink!

^Yes, I like the small ones (pack of 4) to use to make sliders.
Posted it on here somewhere a while back.

The larger dinner rolls have been a favourite at Thanksgiving gatherings since they came out on the shelves.

Been meaning to get the burger buns too, but haven't as yet.

Leftover Chilli and rice. I used beef stock for the rice so it like like a really healthy brown rice.

Hey E-Dad, have you ever sliced those Hawaiian rolls in 1/2, buttered them and then fried them? That's about the only way I serve them. I butter the sliced side and then put them face down in a CI.

HOME-MADE.stuffing?? Wow!

Looks great peep.
Thanks Jimmy. Homemade stuffing is easy with the help of Arnold's herb stuffing cubes, fresh celery and onion, poultry seasoning, chicken stock and butter. Saute the veggies add the seasoning and stock toss in the cubes stir and done. Start to finish takes maybe 15 minutes.

Peep... I just love stuffing like that. DW and DD like Mushing. Yuck!
Son Jimmy and GD will not eat stuffing. Not any whatsoever.

DIL and I love the cubes and the herbs.

Tina makes the stuffing with hard rolls/ eggs / pureed carrots celery and onion.
Add melted butter and WATER, and all mixed and squished. Once baked and it gets room temp. it's so so, but I still like the taste of the diced veggies and the cubes.

Only thing is I don't like sausage or mushrooms or chestnuts in the stuffing.

Is it Thanksgiving yet?... I'm ready!

I like my stuffing to have texture and crunch. I like mushrooms and walnuts in my stuffing also but didn't have any mushrooms and didn't feel like digging the nuts out of the freezer. LOL I used to put bulk sausage in my stuffing the first couple times I made stuffing but decided I like it better without. AND NO eggs in my stuffing (who needs added gas? LOL).
