My friend Julie drove me to Bowling Green to pick up a little dining set for my wee corner of the kitchen. I found it on Facebook Marketplace.

We stopped at Bob Evans to eat, my treat to her for the use of her Jeep Patriot
No way that would have fit in the trunk of my Malibu.

Food: I got the turkey dinner.

The nice little not-so-empty space now.
I love it.

These meatballs are delicious, though a bit too sweet.
The recipe is in the beef forum if anyone is interested.

I've got leftover ground beef mix from last night's meatballs.
I'll make a burger and have pea salad on the side.

I have b/s chicken breasts. So something TBD later. I think maybe a stir fry with veggies over rice.

Tonight was a burger disaster.... Oh Yeah!
Tina made an eggplant casserole. Baked in the toaster convection oven.

THEN.... DD made a whole Load of cheese burgers on the grill. I wanted mine medium well.....and as it happened, she cooked them ALL Rare. No Salt !
I had blood running off my chin, and the inner was cold.

Well...... She had a total hissy fit when I said I'm done after one bite!
She then scraped off the cheese, and recooked two burgers to my liking.
They were good, but the situation was still bad.

Well not sure what dinner will be. My finger is infected and very painful again. I got an emergency appointment at the dermatologist. She gave me rx for 3 meds.

Yeah, Peeps ... Getting old's a B*tch .........

I'm hobbled, and on top of the muscle damage, suffering from "That which Pain Medications will do to your through-put"..... got in - and - out of the kitchen as quickly and "effortlessly" as possible..... but my chin is still up, and, and Scarlett would say, "Tomorrow is another Day "...

Boiled Dogs & Navy Beans & Bacon from the Freezer.... Salad of course...

Dermatologist gave me an antibiotic ointment and a steroid ointment. My biggest issue is leaving it uncovered. When it is uncovered and dries out it burns like hell fire! So painful. (I go in the bathroom and cry so family doesn't see

) It's my right index finger and I'm a righty so everything I need to do is painful.
When I can't take the pain any more (and at night so I can get a little bit of sleep) I cover it with a loose gauze pad. I hope that's ok. But I can't take the constant pain. Any other suggestions to help with the pain?

Peeps, did the dermatologist tell you this is directly related to your diabetes?
I think it sounds like it.

Right now I'm not sure about dinner plans.
It's not going to be restaurant food.

No she didn't. It's eczema. I think it got worse from hand washing. Both my hands and up my arms to my elbows have dry flaky rash. She told me not to use hand sanitizer. And use a mild soap. I saw a post on another forum about goat milk soap and how good it works for eczema. So bought some goat milk soap which is coming on Monday. I'll give that a try.

If it is directly related to diabetes what can I do about it?
