How cool!

I've never seen a real-life eagle!

They're the most awesome creatures to watch, Lee.
I've seen hawks, minks, several types of duck, we've got seagulls that have stayed at the dam.
I've been told they came down from the lakes up north, but they aren't the gulls with white heads.
Then there are coyotes that we've seen and heard at night.
A great blue heron flew down into a canal lock that runs along the Maumee river while I was down the hill to get the mail last week.
The deer are always out in the morning and again at dusk, the turkeys aren't as present right now as they were in the late fall.
It's a pleasure to live right across from the state park.

Great pic.
I agree. We find spots on the river they frequent and will anchor the boats close by and be entertained for hours if they eagles corporate. 50/50 chance of that.

Here is a little info about the area and some professional photos that were taken from a birding site I visit.
One of these days I'll get some really good ones when the weather is bright and sunny.

the turkeys aren't as present right now as they were in the late fall.

Just captured these.
Heard them very close to the house as I'm sitting here sipping coffee.
Gobble gobble!
They were right by the front porch, by the time I grabbed the phone to shoot them and got out there they took off toward the pines. Lol
