Schuyler Colfax was the 17th Vice President of the United States (1869-1873)
serving under Ulysses S. Grant. At the time of their inauguration, President
Grant and Colfax, (46 and 45) were the youngest Elected President and VP and
remained so until the inauguration of Bill Clinton (46) and Al Gore (44) in
1993.
