Aimee's tacos are amazing.
She uses 'fried til floating' large flour tortillas- then drained of the oil.
Quickly assembled w/ steak-umms, sliced soft cooked potatoes in cumin (yes!), onion, lettuce, shredded cheddar and salsa.
I ate 3.
Just the right amount of crisp to the tortillas.
Didn't get any snaps.
Well, last night's Chili Mac 'n Cheese had to become Chili-Penne 'n Cheese.....
All I had in the way of Macaroni was the remains of that stuff I bought by accident
I was going to go grocery shopping but with 60 mph winds I decided not to out.
So tonight will be something with ground beef I took out. Probably meatloaf.
I made MY supper last night. Hot Italian sausage and peppers. To have with spaghetti and sauce.
The others won't eat if it's too HOT. Spicy hot that is.
Had sausage and peppers and it was good.
It was a little dry, but .... Great tasting.
The longer the storage in the freezer dries it some. Especially with the preservative salt. All of last years pig, is done.
Now.....the new pig is at the butchers to stock up for this coming year.
MS. Piggy is bleeding out on the farm. DD is glad, because it is a pain in the butt when she breaks out of the pen. Last week, DD had to run and search 4 times. This pig was the only one of the 20 or so, who is a master escape artist. Plus the next time, the cops said, will be a $500.00 fine.
