What have you eaten Sunday 6/2/2019 to Saturday 6/8/2019?

I hayad Mrs T's Pierogi.. Dry freezer burnt, and I ate 6 with sour cream and fried onions. Gee..... Ayy...Gee!
It was like eating papyrus egg cartons.
They don't put them in plastic bags. They are frozen and placed in a cardboard box.

Jimmy, I don't recall them being without plastic bags in the box, but I love them.
Can't say I've ever had any that were freezer burnt either.
I plan on getting some this week.
I'll let you know.

Usually Tina gets them in the big bag and is resealable.
Jones' breakfast sausages come in a plain box too. The ones I had were in the deep freezer a little too long I think? The temp is set at (- 10ºF ) too!

I had tomato juice, deli roast beef (no bread), Trader Joe's smoked cheese and tossed salad for dinner.

Tonight will be marinated eye of round steak, cut thin and served over fried cabbage. Corn as a side.

Dogs 'n Kraut, Mashed Spuds w/ Bacon, Buttered Carrots,

Simple Slab-o-Lettuce with egg...

Corned beef sandwich with mustard.
NOT tender. Had to tear it with my teeth to get a bite full.
DD and Tina got it from the Kosher section of the deli at Livingston ShopRite market.
It's like a waste of jaw exercise to Not enjoy a meal.

Med, your dinner was lovely!

Sass, do you have a recipe for fried cabbage? Sounds great!

Italian Garlic Cheese Chicken sausages (juicy, but bland) and boiled artichoke with garlic lemon butter (spectacular!)

And a glass of Malbec.

Lee, I just slice it and fry it in butter or oil.
I start out on a medium high heat, then when it starts to wilt and cook down, crank it up until a little colour/brown starts to show.

Chicken noodle soup made from what was left of our rotisserie chicken.
Grilled cheese sandwiches. Mandarin oranges

Tonight I'm making chicken and biscuits casserole.
The recipe calls for canned biscuits.
I'm making some from Pioneer baking mix.

The filling was leftover chicken, mixed vegs, cream of chicken soup, milk, poultry seasoning, garlic salt and 1/4 c parmesan cheese.
The drop biscuits were great.

I made stuffed peppers. All mostly to satisfy Tina. A lot of rice, and used ground veal. She can digest veal with no problems.
I ate, but I won't eat it again. ( Leftovers )

Philly cheesesteak, loose meat style, with home fries.

Pulled pork taco with fried cabbage.

Sass and LT, you are right - fried cabbage is terrific - thanks! I did fry a bit of sliced onion and added some fresh dill.

Tina makes Slovakian Haluski with the grated and mashed potatoes in fried cabbage & onions...
OMG .... "A Gluttons Feast!"

I've got teriyaki chicken marinating. Will have it with Uncle Ben's long grain and wild rice, some grilled pineapple, and some steamed broccoli.

I added dill and parsley to the cabbage, then sliced and fried the sausages.
Rosemary olive oil bread on the side.
Mmmmm!!

Nothing for supper for me. In the Blah Mood.
Tina opened a can of Chef BoyarDee xtra filled meat ravioli.
She liked them since she was a kid. I tried two an hour ago, and i still cannot get the taste of the tin can out of my mouth...
