Vyapti - Vegan Clam Chowder

http://myveggiekitchen.blogspot.com/2009/11/vegan-clam-chowder.html

I spent the afternoon getting a batch of seitan (fake meat) to look and taste like clams. It didn't exactly taste like clams, but definitely has an 'of the sea' flavor and the broth was perfect for clam chowder. The texture, though was really good. It made for a delicious batch of clam chowder.

The clam strips were a bonus and delicious with home made tartar sauce.

FANTASTIC JOB EVERYONE :applause:

ON TO Iron Chef 26 -BATTLE COMFORT FOOD!!
