That’s it, Battle Tomato is Ooooooooo-vuuuuuhhhhhhhhh!

Umami, the 5th sense of taste, was first discovered by Kikunae Ikeda in 1908 as being unique to many items, one in particular being - the tomato.

In Japanese, Umami simply means taste or flavor, but through Anglicization, it has come to mean savory. And what a savory batch of recipes we have presented here!
