Default MONKEY STEW

MONKEY STEW

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups chopped onions
4- Cups potatoes (medium dice)
2- Small (8 oz.) cans of tomato sauce
2- Small (6 oz.) cans of tomato paste
2- Lbs. ground chuck (or Monkey meat lol)
2- Teaspoons salt

2- Teaspoons garlic powder

2- Cups beef stock or broth
2- Cups water


In a 5 qt. Dutch oven (or larger stock pot), brown ground beef and onions, then drain off grease.
In the same pot, add back the ground beef mixture and the tomato sauce, tomato paste, salt, garlic powder, broth and water.
Heat to a boil. lower the heat to a simmer.
Add the potatoes and cook covered on low-med for 1 ˝ to 2 hours until the potatoes are done (stirring occasionally).
