I've had it before.
It's very pleasant tasting.

I'm fond of wheat ales - weizen aka weiss beers
I prefer the Krystal = filtered variety over the Hefe (cloudy) types - the hefe/yeast leaves a sticky sweet aftertaste

but I've not found any German brand that imports the Krystalweizen to USA, much less into draconian PA licensing....

but the Belgian style is "flavored" - coriander & orange peel is typical but there are many others.

from my notes:
Blue Moon - terrible spicing
Harpoon UFO Hefeweiss - says not spiced, wrong - coriander+orange
Harpoon UFO White - also Belgium spiced
Leinenkugel Sunset - orange + blueberry

I've given up on the Belgians.

the elusive Krystall Weissbier has been captured . . .

Erdinger imports it from northeast of Munich. brewed in the Reinheitsgebot.
there are no distributors for Erdinger in PA.
need to phone to confirm the MD places nearby / enroute to Wegmans carry the Kristall.

this is the good stuff....
