You need:
Your favourite meatballs
Double portion of a red/tomato sauce, I made my own
Bechamel sauce
Your favourite cheese grated
Cooked chunky pasta (I used rigatoni)
My tomato sauce:
Chop up & saute, a small onion, a leek, a carrot, a yellow pepper, some celery and a couple of cloves of garlic.
When softened stir in some paprika and salt.
Add a generous splah of red wine and two cans of chopped tomatoes.
Stir in some mixed herbs & tomato puree.
To make
Add the pasta to an ovenproof dish
Stir in the tomato sauce and a little bechamel sauce and throughly mix.
Pour over the rest of the bechamel sauce.
Cover with grated cheese and bake until golden.
