Kind of reminds me our excursion in the early '70 to the first Willie Nelson free concert at Pale Face park in Austin Texas. I would guess about 1500 naked people in the lake there as well as a few dozen of us. We park our motorcycles under a beautiful stand of trees, thinking how lucky that no one had ready taken the spot. We soon discovered why as soon as we got off the bikes. We got covered with ticks like swarming red ants the minute we stopped moving. No one thought twice about getting down in the water to get them off. 
Oh and we were all much younger then and it good shape so no one went blind from the site of us, nor any of those that had beat us to the water.

I've camped there. It's truly beautiful when the water level is right. I think Hippy Hollow was the hot spot for the nudies back then. Not sure though
