Actually, it’s the opposite...
Mexico City sits 2,229 meters (7,313 feet) above sea level, while Denver
sits 1593 meters ( 5,226 feet) above sea level.
You may have noticed also the Denver’s elevation is NOT a mile... a mile
equals 5,280 feet.
The Denver Broncos home field is called "Mile-High" Stadium, because the
top-most rows of seating are a Mile high.
