I came across this recipe and though I might just give this a try. It is simple enough and want take long to make.,

LOADED CALZONE

1/2 Pound Italian Sausage, bulk or links with casings removed
1 Cup Marinara Sauce, divided into two 1/2 cup portions
½ Cup Pepperoni, thin sliced, bite size
1 Teaspoons Basil, dried
1 Tube Pizza Dough, refrigerated, 13.8 ounce size
1 1/2 Cups Mozzarella Cheese, grated

In a skillet sauté the Italian Sausage until it is no longer pink. Drain and place the Sausage in a mixing bowl. Stir in one of the 1/2 cup portions of the Marinara Sauce along with the Pepperoni and Basil and set aside.
Unroll the tube of Pizza Dough and cut it in half crosswise. Then cut each half in half again only this time cut it lengthwise.
Roll each of the four pieces of dough into a 7” X 5” rectangle.
Place two of the rectangles on a cookie sheet and full each with half of the Italian Sausage mixture and half of the Mozzarella Cheese.
Place one the other two Pizza Dough rectangles on each of the ones that has Sausage mixture and Cheese.
Seal each calzone firmly by crimping them with a fork.
Bake in a preheated 425° oven or 15 to 17 minutes or until a golden brown.
Heat the other 1/2 cup of Marinara Sauce and serve in small individual bowls as a dipping sauce.
