Doc had a game going here about a decade ago that was a lot of fun.....

A variation on his theme.............

Song Title Game
Maybe this will fly- maybe not.........

The idea is to post a song title relative to the previous one;
for instance...

THE NAME GAME

THE GAME OF LOVE

GAMES PEOPLE PLAY

PLAYING FOR KEEPS

FINDERS KEEPERS............ETC. ETC.

I'll start with........

EVERYTHING IS BEAUTIFUL

Crazy - Patsy Cline

Dream a Little Dream is a little older than I thought. The Everly Brothers hit the top of the charts in 1958. The Mamas and the Papas did it again in 1968. The first recording was in 1931 by Ozzie Nelson and his Orchestra. It was covered by just about everyone in the business since then. Maybe not Elvis don’t remember seeing him on any of the lists.

78 rpm recording with a few scratches :)

Today I Started Loving You Again - Emmylou Harris :heart1:

Who knew . . .

I really thought it was a song from the 50’s. 1931 Ozzie Nelson. I would have lost money if we were betting.

:lmao:

Do It Again - Steely Dan

I had to cheat and use google. This one takes too much brain power for me. I usually know lyrics but not always titles.
