Sausage Balls

Another of Mom's Christmas recipes

10 oz sharp cheddar cheese shredded and at room temp
1 lb hot sausage (homemade is best and I like using mild instead)
3 c bisquick
1 tsp salt

Mix all ingredients together. Shape into balls (or patties). Bake at 375F for 12 minutes.

Very simple! Looks great too! Do you recommend any sauce with this? If so what kind.

Mom always fixed a brown gravy for it. I have no idea what was in it. I have her recipe book and files. I'll look and see if I can find it.

I agree, they do sound good. With or without sauce.
