Not sure what’s for dinner. It’s been raining and flash flood warnings for the area.

I feel like making cheese and potato blintzes. But that depends on if DD will help make the crepes.

Chowder, was your schnitzel "weiner"? Lot of work for that plate - looks great!

Dan, I want to dive in to your loaf pan of lasagna!

not really. Weiner aka Vienna Schnitzel is veal and breaded. sometimes I do the eggwash/breading routine and sometimes just dredged.

it's really not much work - slice&pound takes 4-5 minutes - being thin, it pan fries in a flash - not more than 2 minutes/side.

the spaetzle I make in batches and freeze. so it's dip a couple handfuls out of the bag - thaw - refry...

We had cheese (farmer cheese) and potato blintzes (sour cream & apple sauce on side) for dinner last night (no new pictures).

Old pictures (blintzes look the same every time)

Yay! You had a good meal Lucky!

I've bookmarked a recipe for seasoned turkey meatballs. How I'll do them is still in question.
In gravy, brown or red?
Sides- not sure yet.

For top round, it was very tender. Not normal supermarket beef.
Butcher shop that uses only locally raised beef.
The dark color, is the oregano and italian spices. I mean, heavily spiced.

I breaded and fried the leftover steak we didn't cook last night.
It was spaghetti and chili on top, with the fried breaded steak as a pusher, and finger food.
