I was positive, but I was worried that I had another woodchuck. Yep!

The b'tard ate all four pots of yellow wax bean LEAVES, some of my Roma bean leaves, all of my nasturitium blossoms, and today I caught him contemplating my portuclaca!

I sprinkled cayenne on everything, and we'll see how that goes.

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!

Here the county animal control will set a trap for him. When he's caught they will pick up the trap and release him in a wilderness area.

There are commercial folks who do the same.

Be careful, many wild animals have rabies.

You may have just seasoned his beans for him :yum:. The trap is a good idea. We don't have woodchucks, but we have plenty of ugly armadillos.

I have the best looking zucchini plant growing this season and have yet to get a single piece of zucchini from it due to either a wood chuck or chipmunk. The get the young zucchini before they are ready to pick. Haven't touched the peppers, tomatoes or anything but the zucchini.
