Tonight I am trying Alton Brown's Red Beans and Rice,
which includes pickled pork. Lucky for me, he included
the recipe for pickling pork!

We have our granddaughter overnight while mommy & daddy celebrate mommy's birthday with another couple. Alexa like spaghetti, so I thawed some sauce and made meatballs. Also made Italian bread and sandwich thins this morning.

Had a late Lunch into a Early Supper!

DW made shepherds pie, and she used the tater tots...And bland Swiss Cheese!

I had to salt the livin heck out of it, but it was tasty then!... Oh! She used mixed veggies instead of corn.

Then there was the dessert of Blue Can P-Bury Cinnamon Rolls.

They are so small.....Hey! Look at that Jimmy Fella Sneaking one!!

Ya got me thinking about tomorrows meal now! Spaghetti sounds great!
DW has sauce made from last week. I may do some hot sausage on the grill with potatoes wedges, and peppers. I'm rollin that around in my head.Hmmm!!

I let Alexa pick the pasta shape for dinner, so she chose small shells. I think she knew it was easier for her to get them on her spoon. :lol:

Awwww Joe!
She's so adorable :)

My chili was good.. so was the grilled cheese.
Will be a repeat for tomorrow night's dinner.
I'll take some leftover pics with of course another grilled cheese.
