sattie, this is pretty good stuff. Never made it with venison though. We use beef brisket.

It's from Remington's Sportsmans Library.

Crockpot Brunswick Stew 4 cups chicken broth or stock
2-3 cups chopped, cooked chicken, turkey, pheasant, rabbit, or squirrel
1 pound cooked venison, chopped
1 (10 ounce) package frozen baby limas
1 (10 ounce) package frozen whole kernel corn
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 (28 ounce) can whole tomatoes, undrained and chopped
2 medium potatoes, peeled and diced
2 tablespoons margarine
1 teaspoon salt
1/8 cup sugar
1/2-1 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon red pepper (or to taste)

Pour 4 cups broth in crockpot. Add chopped chicken, turkey or game, chopped venison and remainder of ingredients. Cook on medium 6 to 8 hours or until potatoes and vegetables are tender. 8-10 servings.
