Spinach Salad

1 pkg spinach (about 1 lb)
2/3 c bibb lettuce
1 (9 oz) can sliced water chestnuts, drained
1/2 c oil (can use bacon grease)
1/4 c sugar
1/4 c chili sauce
2 tbsp red wine vinegar
1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 small onion, chopped
1/2 tsp dry mustard
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
3/4 c cooked, crumbled bacon

Toss spinach, lettuce and water chestnuts. Mix remaining ingredients to make dressing. Pour over spinach mixture and toss to coat. Serve immediately.

Note: You can garnish with chopped hard boiled egg

Good one Jim. Reminds me of the best prime rib I ever had. I had it and spinach salad. Ummmmmm
