ASPARAGUS ROLLUPS

12 slices white bread, crusts removed
1 (8 oz.) container whipped cream
cheese
2 tbsp. chopped chives
8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
24 fresh asparagus spears, partially
cooked
1/4 c. melted butter
Parmesan cheese

Using a rolling pin, flatten each slice of bread.
Combine next three ingredients, stirring well. Spread cheese mixture on the bread slices, covering to edges.
Put 2 asparagus spears on each slice of bread; roll this up and lay them seam side down on a greased baking sheet. Brush each with butter, and sprinkle liberally with Parmesan cheese. Bake at 400 degrees for 12 minutes.
