Not sure what dinner will be. Maybe chili.
Breakfast is a slice of bakery sour dough toast and homemade yogurt and lemon curd.

Well, I was all geared up to do Peep's Sesame Noodles, but I may have acquired the wrong Ramen .... so that's on hold pending a note to Peeps...

So, a Crab Cake from the freezer, a Cheesy (Vermont Cheddar) Baked Russet, Tartar Sauce, and a Bean Salad....
I let the Oil get a tad too hot, but it was fine...

It all looks great lol

I'm thinking noodles in brown gravy over mashed potatoes this evening.
Frenchie green beans too.
Maybe something else.
I'd considered poutine but would have to search for cheese curds.
It's on the list!

And I want Lucky's crab cake!

Did you post the recipe for that somewhere, LT, or was it storebought? Looks fantastic!

Looks good Shermie!

Tonight is..

Baked chicken drummies, Lucky inspired!
Mashed chive and butter potatoes and the French style green beans.
The chicken will be half salt and black pepper, the others will be basted in a bbq/maple syrup sauce.
This is written in stone lol

Interesting experience las night !
Went to open a box of Angel Hair. Unfortunately, the other end had already been opened, and I spilled half the box onto the (stone) tile floor.... you can guess the rest... (I bet I'm finding little splinters of dry pasta for the rest of the year, and beyond....

Any way, Yesterday's lunch was Seafood Salad, carried in and Gussied up....

Seafood Salad II.jpg

Dinner was what was left of the Angel Hair, Shrimp Alfredo...

Shrimp Alfredo.jpg

That was at 5:00 .......

At 8:00, it was obvious that the Alfredo was not gonna get me through the night, so back into the kitchen....
A hearty Evening Breakfast...

I never did bake the cake.
Perhaps I will today.
As long as I'll have the oven on for tonight's casserole which is yet to be decided on.

Dinner last night was chili. DD made it this time (no onion, no bell pepper and no extra spicy pepper) very mild and plain.

Tonight I am planning to make Cornish hens.

Tonight I am planning to make Cornish hens.

I plans have changed. Take-out is now being discussed.
The winner is Chinese Take-Out.

I am a fan of McCormick products, so when I saw this, I needed to try it...

It was smoky, all right ! And just a Hair too sweet for me.... and I missed the chopped onion I usually sweat off to go into this dish... I'll stick to my usual recipe for this product...

So, Sloppy Joe on an Onion Roll, slightly toasted, more like heated....

...and, at the last minute, decided I needed my fresh Veggies, so I threw together a Lazy Man's Salad ... Robusto Italian Drizzle
This was a struggle to eat, with my sore jaw...

I Wanna See It ! :hotdog:

:yum:
Can't, I already deleted it off my phone.
What it was, was egg noodles in sauce made from Goya tomato sauce, a little cream, garlic powder, cumin.
She also made fried cornbread like her mother does.
In the oven, in a screaming hot oiled dish.
It fries around the edges and bottom as it bakes.
She said don't put THAT one on Facebook.
I said no, I put it on that cooking forum.
She said noooooo...
So, all gone.

LT, thanks for directing me to your crabcakes ... AGAIN, lol!

Peep, when you do those game hens, please post your recipe - I have two in the freezer.

Sass, thanks for posting the story about the mysterious photo. I wondered about it, too, lol!

I broke out my smoker again yesterday to cook a rack of St. Louis spare ribs and a rack of babybacks, a corned beef for pastrami, some ABT's and bacon.

All turned out great.

I gave the ABT's to my friend, chilled the pastrami to slice later, saving the bacon for BLT's.

Had some of the ribs with my garden yellow beans and a tomato salad with French bread to dunk.

Looks great Lee. But I think you’re in the wrong thread.
