I'd never heard of these Japanese peppers before, but I wanted something similar to Leni's "Wrinkled Old Man" peppers and I found this plant at Lowe's.

Holy cow - it's the most PROLIFIC pepper plant I've ever had! Early and bountiful!

The peppers are about the size of jalapenos, but are mild. Excellent for grilling or searing in a frying pan. Drizzle with a little olive oil and coarse salt - delicious appetizer!

Now I see they are all over the internet and in restaurants.

Leni, or anyone else, if you want seeds, PM me your address.

Below is just the first harvest of one plant - about 2 dozen peppers.

These look interesting as well.

They are as mild as bell peppers, Asif. I've read that you can get a random hot one every once in awhile, but I've yet to experience that.
