Not really a movie, but a series on Hulu...Little Fires Everywhere
Really good, I mentioned the book in What are you Reading.
Loving it so far, it's following the book pretty closely. I'll see how the the rest goes.

Just finished it. The ending didn't follow the book at all. I was a little disappointed.

An oldie but a goodie. From 1981 ... On Golden Pond. With Henry Fonda, Kathrine Hepburn and Jane Fonda. I had not seen this since the 80's. I've grown up a lot since then so I see it with different eyes. :D

Peanut Butter Falcon - It's a heart warming movie about a young man with Downs Syndrome who gets stuck in a nursing home but escapes. I really liked it.

I've not watched a movie in a while, although there are several good movie channels on Airy.Tv.
Last night I binge watched reruns of Rhoda.
Always liked it when the character/ lounge lizard Johnny Venture made an appearance.

Good Girls Revolt

Love, love, love the music! The clothes, the hairstyles, and the attitudes of the 70's

Based on the true story, Good Girls Revolt follows the lives of women working in fictional "News of the Week" newsroom (based on Newsweek magazine) as "researchers" under a group of male reporters. The story focuses on the lead up to their battle for equal rights in the workplace, notably their right to be reporters.

Good Girls Revolt tells the true story of the women of Newsweek (in the series, News of the Week) who sued the magazine for sexual discrimination in 1970. The drama received critical acclaim and was well-received by female audiences, in particular

Bombshell on Prime
I'm not very far into it, but so far it has been really good.
There are tons of good movies on tubi right now.
I love the app and stream it through my Chromebook at night if I want to watch in bed.
I love the documentary selection as well as series sets.
It has 7 seasons of Julia Child's cooking show.?

I can get it with my roku. First movie I saw offered was Rosemary's Baby...eeek. I decided to watch another one though for now. It's based on a hate crime in Texas, so that's all I'm gonna say about that.
Thanks for the heads up, Sass :).

Make sure you check out the documentary music section.
I think you're gonna find a lot of things there you'll like.
I watched a Fleetwood Mac, Elvis, Johnny Cash, Cher,Woodstock ,Elton John and others recently.
The movies are changed every now and then, just check every different section.
They'll alert you to which ones are leaving soon, then new ones show up.

^^^^^ that movie got both good and bad reviews.
I found it repetitive, tedious and depressing.
Stayed with it tho until the end.
It didn't have any sort of ending!
Certainly not the happy ending expected.

Hillbilly Elegy on Netflix
I have the book on hold too. It has over 18,000 reviews at about 4.5 stars on Amazon.
I usually like to read the book first and then watch the movie but whatever.

I'm still watching Hillbilly Elegy. It can get pretty depressing, so I have to turn it off for a day or two.
You'll never guess who this woman is. I kept thinking...who is that? I was shocked.

I started watching this one last night, then found myself falling asleep.
Not that it was boring at all, I was just tired.
The nice thing about viewing movies on tubi, they automatically pick up where you leave off.
Definitely going to finish this one.

Not a movie, but last night I revisited Anthony Bourdain's 'A Cook's Tour'.
I believe there are 13 episodes in the series.
Last night it was Singapore.

Tonight I'm going to watch one of two movies showing on tubi on the Duke and Duchess of Windsor (I may watch both).
That Wallis Simpson was something else!
