Tina made Pea Soup with the ham. :WitchBrewsSmiley:
It was so good, I had three bowls of it.:thumb:

She diced the carrots so small and she added some potatoes. It was awesome.

We had a Birthday meal and cake today.
DIL was 43 today.

Had my favorite,.......chicken ( yeah right ) that Tina picked up from ShopRite; a breast and a fryer roasted in their rotisserie roaster.
Sorry for the birds condition....
I cut up....could you tell?... :yum:

Peas.... carrots...mashed potatoes and gravy and stuffing.

Had the cannoli cake from Calandra's Bakery in Fairfield, NJ.

Cooksie - Oh man...great looking dish there. I love shrimp.

Embryodad - Your smash, er sorry, cut up chicken looks like how I do it. Sherry looks like she enjoyed your presentation.

We had a simple chicken and mushroom fry in a cream sauce, served over fettuccine.

Yeah! Thanks r j dawg
Your chicken mushroom on linguini looks good.

The kids all know that when Dad / pops cuts the meat, it looks like a bear claw did the damage. My Excuse = It was too hot to slice nice.....so I do pulled chicken.
I don't even use a knife; just 2 forks does the job.

Now, I get the job of making chicken salad. They all love my chicken salad.

I am not a fan of chicken, but I will eat it if it is cooked charred, and blackened and dry inside.
I cook chicken (for myself) like Cro- Magnon man did, on a fire of hot coals.
Hit it with a hammer, and it cracks....then I will eat it!

Happy Birthday to DIL - I know y'all always have a theme for the party. I'm guessing it's a spring theme...flowers, butterflies, and that cute little piggy .

Thanks rocket - I love shrimp too, really any kind of seafood. If you can drag it from the water, I'll eat it.

Thanks Cooksie... Yeah, it was a spur of the moment theme / decorations for her.

Your Shrimps meal looks great! I love seafood any way it's prepared.
My favorite is Scallops. DD and I are the only ones who will eat them.

Ummm.....shrimps and scallops in a wine / butter sauce!... "Heaven!"

Burgers and fried potato slices today!
Found those Arnolds Rolls for the burgers were great,
Sliced all the way through... sliced in the center, and big enough for a large size burger!

Tina made a Old World Rasberry bars.... Good but loaded with seeds.
We didn't have seedless raspberry filling, and diverticulosus and seeds are a no no for me. I picked on the crust, and OoooOo It was great!

Believe it or not.... I'm baking a Pizzagaine for Tina right now.
I had dough in the fridge, and I figured she could get her wish!:picnic:

I put a sirloin tip steak in the slow cooker with a quart of our tomatoes and then added onion and sweet peepers later. Just ate and it was so tender you almost needed a spoon. Have enough left for another meal. I had bought the peppers for kabobs on the grill and need to use them up. If the wind ever slows down I will be grilling steaks and chicken.

Made bacon and yeast raised waffles for brekkie.

Tina made veggie cabbage soup. Wow!...she made a keeper.
She said, " this is good with italian bread!"
I looked in my pockets, and in the bread box, but didn't find a stitch of italian bread!

After I ate...I remembered we had that Texas Toast with cheese in the freezer!...Darnnnnn!!!

:dizzy: I just realized that I screwed up the dates for the Dinner Thread...should be through May 3, 2014 :dizzy:.

I'll ask to have it fixed, and someone can start the new thread.

Looks like time for the party. Ummm!

What I do, is wet the chips in water, and then drizzle the cheese on top, and nuke it for 15 seconds.
I don't know what it is.....I just like the chips floppy when I eat them.
Like eaating wet cardboard.

I just didn't want to look like a thread hog :pig:. It has gotten pretty slow. A month might even work until it picks back up.

Beautiful quesadilla, lifesaver :thumb:

I'll just roll with the flow and continue to post here since we're already up to Wednesday. Hopefully, it will get straightened out next week. Ol' Dingy Me :bonk:.

After reading the spaghetti sauce thread, I just had to have spaghetti. I didn't have any Italian sausage, but lo and behold I found some frozen meatballs.

I got digging around in the freezer and found some beef short ribs. BBQ'd them in the oven and served them over Parmesan mashed potatoes.

Oh I love chicken parm. Thanks for the idea.
Last night I found some leftover roast beef in the freezer so I whipped up a broccoli beef stir fry.

Made this potato salad with the help of one of my brothers.

He cooked sausages & babyback ribs on the grill and corn on the cob. I made some cornbread to go with the dinner.:eating2:
