Turkey Ham

I found a new love!

I really like deli sliced boiled ham to have in sandwiches and just a slice for a snack. But in my effort to lower cholesterol, I tried switching to deli-sliced roasted turkey.

Yuck.

This weekend, I discovered turkey ham at the deli, so I bought some.

DELICIOUS!!!

Looks, tastes and feels just like smoked ham!

Now I know someone is going to burst my bubble by saying that it's bad for me - salt, nitrates or something. But for now, I'm reveling in my new discovery!

If only turkey bacon was any good!

actually ham isn't all that terrible in the saturated fat & chl. level.
except for diabetics, the impact of dietary cholesterol on serum levels is about zilch.

this is per 100 grams = 3 ounces plus; ch & Na in mg
