TRUTH !!
The original 'Three Bears' story had a female fox intruding into the three
bears house; the fox was later replaced by an old woman. The central
character was then changed into a young girl named Silverhair before
eventually being renamed Goldilocks. The first written version is attributed
to Eleanor Mure in 1831 though the story was around in the form of a folk
tale even earlier.
