I can't stand kale. I guess it is like cilantro, you either love it or hate it! The other thing I won't eat is lima beans.

The only kale I've ever liked (and Dogboa wouldn't try) was at a Korean restaurant that was 1 of the banchan served with bulgogi. It didn't have that crinkly texture that I can't stand and obviously had sesame oil in it and sesame seeds. Other than that and how they cooked it to get rid of that nasty texture, ??????

I love kale in the soup with sausage, but never on it's own.
Lima beans have always been a favourite.-- love them!

Dogboa - if you find some local fresh off the vine limas, do try them.

fresh from the garden is a whole different bean than canned/frozen....

I can't stand kale, either (or sesame oil, the smell nauseates me). Watercress is a favorite, especially wild that we got from a trout stream spring in MN. Beet greens are another favorite and I eat the stems, too, which a lot of folks say to discard.

I also love lima beans and butter beans, especially in succotash.

This is very interesting info and good news, John!

For years, I've thought that kale is one of the best things you can eat. I'm okay with it, but I prefer chard and spinach.
