Sunday was spaghetti and meatballs. Garlic Bread, and Home Made Chocolate chip cookies that Tina Mommy baked.

Today, will be burgers and hot dogs.

Tonight's hash made with rib roast.

It's been awhile since I made this and it hit the spot. I had brown sauce for a condiment. The marble rye from WinCo is excellent.

I made eggs benedict for brunch at 11:30 this morning, then went to A&W on my work break (7-ish) and got a tuna melt on wheat with a root beer.

The plan is for chicken with artichoke hearts and mushrooms over some kind of pasta.

Summer spaghetti salad.
I cook the pasta, then add some italian dressing (or olive oil), chopped tomato, onion, garlic and parm.
Real simple, real good.

Had hot dogs and hamburgers last night.

I know what supper will be. Breaded veal; thin sliced.

It was a wing-it type thing, and it was really good :).

Tonight was the last of the rib roast made into a beef pot pie. The bones are simmering for a future beef noodle soup.

I had some frozen eye round roast that the butcher sliced into thin 1/8 inch slices.
I fried them and ripped them in bite size schreds then fried some peppers. I had two sandwiches with cheese atop on a split top New England roll, and baked them till the cheese melted and the buns crisped up a bit.

Mommy T had mashed potatoes. The beef is too heavy for her to digest.

DW came up with a 'grilled pasta salad' recipe - it's dead duck easy.
however, as written, it's one of those 'don't try this at home things' - as modified, it's very good.

small zuke; trim ends, slice length wise in half
white onion - half-inch thick slabs
red pepper - quartered and seeded
asparagus - wood bits trimmed/peeled
prepare/cook about 120 gram/4 ounces of rotini

use a charcoal fired grill for best flavor
lightly oil all the veggies
start with zuke, onion & pepper - 5 mins
flip the above veggies
add the asparagus - turn/flip that at 3 mins
all done in another 5 minutes (ten minutes total)

toss veggies and pasta together; recipe says it's done.
blech. not.

needs a splash of a spiced up vinegar and oil dressing - that makes it tasty and unblech.

Spaghetti is on for tonight. After this, I'm going to have to lay off the pasta for a while.

Tina Mommy wants pizza. Home Made dough, and sauce.
She'll have to wait, because I'm in the middle of cutting the grass.

I had planned to make sweet Italian sausage, peppers and onions. But it is 88F today and I really don't feel like cooking. I think I'll wait till the sun goes down to cook.
