Yeah, you're right. The sole of my shoes are rather boring, but it did intrigue me at the time!

FMDerek, that's what got me started in cooking. Moving out on my own, and having a hungry belly for motivation. Now, I'm the night saute cook at a country club.
I remember, way back when, the older cooking shows had a mirror mounted on the ceiling at an angle that cameras could show a POV from directly over the counter. This may provide a way to showcase what you're doing, as well as keep the camera and tripod out of the kitchen and out of your way.
