I gots to get me a dutch oven. :D

You can cook just about anything in a dutch oven.

Lots of places have them. I got one for a friend at Bass Pro Shops (or was it Cabelas?)

I have two. I'll loan you one while you pick out a favorite:chef:

Just did a Boy Scout campout at Fallen Leaf Lake, in the Lake Tahoe area.
I did a Scoutmaster Desert(I'm asst Scoutmaster, but helped my sons patrol plan).

I did a chocolate cake with cherry filling and cream cheese topping. Yum!

Get you an oven :chef: I like the Lodge 12" for most stuff. They have them at Wal Mart etc, for about $35. We have them at home, and six of them in our Scout trailer.

Exactly what I was hoping for a pointer as to where to get them and a ballpark price. I expected them to be a lot more pricier, so $35 dollars is good news. :thumb: :D

That desert does sound scrumdialishious!!!!! :D

Haven't been to cabela's for the best part of a year, but they did have them, and a nice selection at a reasonable price.

Mine is an old three legged Herter's "Model Perfect."
