First of all, You need to nail down a teenager to get in the tree.
This might require, holding back her allowance, or hiding her guitar.

Almonds Raw on the tree-
Most people pass this tree by, no ideas of the fruit it bears.

Removing the outer Shell- The Almond has 2 Shells.

FINAL PRODUCT (almost)
We can eat them at this stage, but to keep them all year, we wash them, dry them in oven, than Freeze them for at least 3 days.

Thank You folkls- This concludes the tour of Dan's Almond Orachard.(1 Almond Tree in front of house & 1 Almond Tree in back of house) LOL.
I should of added a pic of some almond Chicken here. Hmmm next time!

Yum! There are some baking recipes that call for natural raw almonds (unskinned).

My neighbor across the street took out what she called a useless tree. She about died when I told her that it was an almond tree.
