Thanks everyone. My day had its ups and downs. First of all I have a new case of bronchitis so between coughs and sneezes I bloodied my nose and generally feel like crap. I had a golf event I couldn't cancel so I played with one hand on a piece of Kleenex. Somewhere along the way my iPhone disappeared from the golf cart and I haven't found it yet - hoping someone turns it in tomorrow and it still works. When I got home Fran was set to cook a nice dinner but I had/have no appetite at all.
I shot 74 at the very tough Bonita Bay East Sabal course.
JoeV - that first picture is taken from the Sunset Beach Bar on Sint Maarten. I've landed 757s there way over a hundred times and the building at the left rear is the Maho, our layover hotel.

Buzz, I'm sorry you feel so crappy! And on your birthday!
But, I'm guessing you did well in golf (I really have no idea) - so congratulations!
I love St. Martin or Sint Maartin, as it were. Not sure I'd like to have planes landing that closely when I'm trying to relax on the beach.
I live 10 minutes from Revere Beach in MA, and though I LOVE being on a beach, the planes constantly going over Revere from Logan wreck the whole beach experience for me.
