Talk a lot on your cell phone? Maybe have a Teen that does? MetroPCS, an up and coming cellular provider, offers unlimited local calling for a flat $30 per month.

First month free. No activation fee. No contract required.

Coverage isn’t that great right now, but if Metro makes a dent in the market, other carriers will have to follow suit.

Oooooh, unlimited texting can be added for $3/mo. That would be excellent. It's not in my area yet but I would jump on this for my kids.

Right now, I have a family plan with Verizon with 5 lines on it (the limit) and then another phone on T-Mobile. The family thing is good because I put my mom's cell phone on it and we can all call each free. The T-Mobile is for the son with the texting addiction and I would really love to switch him to a cheaper plan like this one, Keltin.

I am like FM, I have the Family Plan from AT&T, plus unlimited texting, plus unlimited data, free nights and weekends, free mobile to mobile, free LD, no roaming fees in the continental US, and roll over. All great since I don't ever have to worry about going over or incurring service charges of any kinds, but still rather costly.
