sigh. that's Max - part Chow. he departed sometime back - he was my gardening buddy, loved to have a snowball bite (ie playing catch with a snowball....)
never got a video of it - when he was a youngster he'd "bound along" - looked like an antelope - boink boink boink .... funny to watch - especially in the snow. |

Garden is clean and tidy for sowing - only I need to build the fence:
![]() There are some flowers already: ![]() Marigold seedlings are ready: ![]() And asters too: ![]() Dahlia is waiting when itīs the right time to plant it (few cold nights coming, so it has to wait): ![]() Rhubarb which I moved to new bed grows well: ![]() Bergenias have started to flower too: ![]() In general, growing is still a little late from the normal schedule but it means that now everything grows fast, maybe faster than in normal year. And whatīs the most important - my forest is green again: ![]() ![]()

Lovely yard, Sass! I am a fan of cardinals, too, although my condo association has banned birdfeeders, dammit, so I don't see as many as I once did.
Have you named yours? I like this little blurb that I read online: " A cardinal is a representative of a loved one who has passed. When you see one, it means they are visiting you. They usually show up when you most need them or miss them. They also make an appearance during times of celebration as well as despair to let you know they will always be with you. Look for them, they’ll appear."

Soon itīs the time of lupins:
![]() ![]() They start late at this year like everyhting as the spring was so cold. But better later than never. Not many flowers on the apple tree. Not as much like at the last year. ![]() Greater celandine (Chelidonium majus) spreads freely around the garden: ![]() A box of pansies welcome visitors beside the front door: ![]()

Itīs the time of roses:
